Goudsouzian finances his own films: Armenian Exile, Armenian Minstrels, Armenian Echoes three one-hour documentaries and Apricot Armenian Gold. With no financial support, each film is a tremendous financial drain on his resources. Costs include, for example, the purchase of high-definition equipment for production and post-production and simply the time it takes to produce a documentary, which can be anywhere from 6 to 8 months. While it can take over $250,000 to produce a professional broadcast quality documentary. Hagop Goudsouzian as an experienced independent filmmaker does it for much less. ______________________________________________________________________________________ ______________________________________________________________________________________ How does he achieve all this? With the experience gained over thirty years in filmmaking, he researches, films, edits, composes, does the final packaging as well as web delivery all on his own with help from friends. In addition he recently purchased high-definition equipment to compete with the changing broadcast requirements. To continue his work seeks ongoing support for his productions through PayPal for varying amounts of up to $1,000.
